It was good to have the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government accept my invite to hear our borough’s vision for future growth at last week’s St Helens Towns Board meeting.

Our Town Deal Board brings together public, private and community partners across St Helens, and is working hard to deliver local regeneration and renewal. The meeting was a chance for us to showcase how, with the right government funding, key projects could help unlock our borough’s great potential.

The Secretary of State’s engagement was positive, and we’ll keep working hard in the months ahead to reiterate the transformative difference that investment could make across St Helens.
