I was delighted to join leaders and staff the Tote, based in Wigan, for a Q&A about my role as an MP, my love for horse racing and sport, and the challenges facing the industry.

It was great to see so much passion and insight on display from attendees – including some of my St Helens North constituents – regarding the future of horse racing, which remains the UK’s second most popular spectator sport – one which, with Haydock Park proudly located in our community, brings economic growth, jobs and much enjoyment to us in St Helens Borough.
