Solidarity to British Gas workers out on strike today in the North West and nationwide in face of attempts to ‘fire and rehire’ them on worse terms.

In December, I made representations to the company on behalf of local British Gas workers and their union, the GMB, and I stand with them in their fight for their rights and their jobs, and against a shameful practice that should be illegal.
