• Taking to the streets for young people in Newton

    Walk 1 Walk 2 Walk 3

Conor McGinn MP for St Helens North, joined over 100 Newton and Earlestown residents and supporters of the local charity, Business for Youth, as they took part in their 4th Big Walk around Newton-le-Willows.  The challenge being to walk down every street in the town.  After hours of walking the route was completed with plenty of sore feet and money raised for local good causes.

Conor met up with the group to give a few words of encouragement and to wish them well before walking with them for part of the route.

“It was great to see so many people give up their Saturday to raise money for young people in their local community”

“Terry and the team have done a great job yet again in organising the walk.  He and all those that took part should be congratulated for a fantastic effort and for once again showing what a community can achieve when it pulls together.”
