It’s shocking that 400,000 fingerprint, DNA and arrest history records have been wiped from a key police database.

This severe data loss could hinder the ability to catch dangerous criminals, bring them to justice, and could even see them walk free.

But the Home Secretary is nowhere to be seen and Ministers’ excuses keep changing. The public needs answers and Priti Patel must take responsibility.
