I’m really pleased to see Labour launch the new Rebuilding Our High Streets Commission this week.

Thriving high streets are the beating heart of towns and villages like ours in St Helens North. But years of Tory neglect has led to so many devastating closures:

– 9,775 shops

– 5,785 pubs

– 7,400 bank branches

– 1,195 libraries

Only Labour can deliver a brighter future for our high streets.
