Conor welcomes progress on King George V playing fields plans

It’s brilliant that St Helens Council have given the green light to our exciting plans to transform King George V playing fields.

Creating top class, well-lit and securer facilities will make KGV a huge asset for our local sports teams, those who use the park and the wider community, and I’m grateful to Labour ward councillors in Haydock and Blackbrook, as well as our local partners, for pushing this £278,000 investment forward.
