Many of my St Helens North constituents have written to me over recent weeks regarding delays in receiving their post, compared to usual.

I’ve been directly in touch with Royal Mail on this, and I know that all our local posties are working hard in the challenging current conditions to resolve any outstanding issues, to minimise disruption and resume their normal efficient service.

I’d like to thank residents for their continued patience, and express my gratitude to the many excellent postmen and women in St Helens Borough for the important job they do, day in day out.
