I’ve just been informed that Cold Weather Payments have been triggered locally in St Helens North. If you live in WA10, WA11, WA12, WA2, WA3, WA5, WA9, WN4, WN5, WN8 and receive Pension Credit, Universal Credit, or any legacy benefits, you will receive an extra £25 to cover higher heating costs with your next payment. You don’t need to action this, payment is automatic.

Cold Weather Payments are triggered if average temperatures in a postcode are forecast to be zero or below for 7 consecutive days.
